現在、超高齢社会の進展により、我が国の介護業界は未曾有の課題に直面しています。2040年には高齢者人口がピークを迎えると予測されており、医療・介護人材の確保が急務です。しかし、介護職の処遇や労働環境の問題、地域ごとの人材格差などの課題は依然として解決されておらず、このままでは必要な介護サービスが行き届かない地域が増える可能性があります。私たちは、医療・介護職の待遇改善、ICT（Information and Communication Technology）やDX（Digital Transformation）の推進、そしてAI（Artificial Intelligence）やロボット技術（Robotics technology）の活用といった多角的なアプローチによって、この問題の解決に貢献していきます。
また、介護保険制度の持続可能性も重要な課題の一つです。支える世代が減少する中で、現行制度の財政負担が拡大しており、給付と負担のバランスを見直す必要があります。そのためには、介護予防の推進や、自助・互助・公助を組み合わせた新たな仕組みの提案が不可欠です。私たちは、医療・介護制度改革に向けた政策提言を行いながら、介護サービスの質を維持しつつ、公平で持続可能な仕組みを追求していきます。さらに、介護の中心が施設から在宅へと移行する中で、家族介護者の負担が増大していることも見過ごせません。特に現役世代に偏りがちな介護負担や、介護離職といった社会問題は、早急な対応が求められます。私たちは、地域包括ケアの強化や介護及び医療レスパイトケアの拡充、企業と連携した介護と仕事の両立支援を進め、介護者が安心して支援を受けられる環境を整えていきます。

By facing the complex challenges of modern society head-on, we aim to identify emerging needs and support individuals in unlocking their full potential so they can shine in their own ways.
Beyond our day-to-day services, we see it as our mission to transform eldercare from a broader, systemic perspective. We actively advocate for policy changes that reflect voices from the field and work to create systems where all professionals involved in caregiving can operate in supportive and empowering environments. Japan’s rapidly aging population presents unprecedented challenges to our care system. By 2040, the number of older adults is expected to peak, making the recruitment and retention of healthcare and caregiving professionals an urgent national priority. However, issues such as poor working conditions, regional disparities in staffing, and inadequate support structures persist. We are committed to addressing these challenges through a multifaceted approach: improving job conditions, promoting ICT and digital transformation, and utilizing AI and robotics to enhance efficiency and accessibility in care.
Equally pressing is the long-term sustainability of the national long-term care insurance system. As the supporting population continues to decline, the financial strain on the system grows. We believe a thorough rebalancing of benefits and contributions is necessary, along with the advancement of preventive care and the integration of self-help, mutual aid, and public support. We will continue to advocate for policy reforms that uphold the quality of services while pursuing a fair and sustainable system.
As caregiving shifts increasingly from institutional to home-based settings, the burden on family caregivers, particularly those of working age, is rising. This has led to growing concerns such as caregiver burnout and employment disruption. We are strengthening community-based integrated care, expanding respite care options, and partnering with businesses to support work–care balance—ensuring that caregivers can receive the support they need with peace of mind.
Moreover, a societal shift in the perception of caregiving is essential. Care should not be seen as solely the responsibility of individuals or families, but as a shared societal obligation. We must recognize the true value of care work and strive toward an inclusive society where everyone can receive care with dignity and security. Through public awareness initiatives, intergenerational community development, and collaborative social actions across welfare, healthcare, industry, and government, we are dedicated to creating a society where people of all generations can live authentically and meaningfully.
